Rural Studies Institute to hold virtual conversations on rural America titled “COVID-19 and Rural Georgia”
The Rural Studies Institute (RSI) at Georgia College will host the first of several virtual conversations on rural America. The first discussion will focus on Rural Georgia and the present global pandemic. Please join us for this very important discussion titled, “COVID-19 and Rural Georgia.” The virtual event will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2020, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m.
Adhering to our goal of university-community partnerships, this discussion will be a collaboration with the GC College of Health Sciences (COHS), the Morehouse School of Medicine, the Medical College of Georgia’s Center for Rural Health, and community experts: Adrick Ingram, Hancock County Coroner and Sarah Bobrow Williams, Bobrow Williams Group LLC.
